move it Monday

This is random, but I mailed Beckham's invitations this morning and OMG! It's becoming so real. My little boy is going to be one whole year old in a very short amount of time. I can't believe he has been in our lives for a whole year. I know everyone says it flies by, and you 'think' you know what that mean; but honestly, I had no idea my life would be moving so quickly. I am trying so hard to savor these sweet moments, but I feel like if I blink I'll miss something. And I probably will because he's growing at warp speed. I am too blessed to be stressed and so incredibly lucky God chose me to be his Mommy.

Move it Monday....hmmm I'm not even worthy to pose a move it Monday but here it goes: Okay, so last week was a complete bust! We enjoyed our visit with Yaya and Grumpy but I got zero exercise in. :( However- I am so motivated this week! I have been doing the Military Diet (you can find meal plans here), and today is my last day of this week. Thank. You. Jesus. Don't let the ice cream as dessert fool you, this diet is no joke. One thing I have been doing is drinking water like a fool. I have had, on average, six bottles of water a day for the past four days. I'm also peeing like a fool. TMI, I know. Anyways, I already have a babysitter lined up this week so I'll get three days in the gym (basically all I do is cardio) and Zumba class on Friday. I'm excited. Sorry for the brevity of this post but I don't have much to talk about in regards to 'movement' since I haven't been moving much this past week. Although, we did swim all day Saturday and Sunday, so I guess that counts. I'll update next Monday with calories burned and hopefully pound(s) lost. Ha!


  1. Seriously, how does time fly by so fast once kids are in the picture? Enjoy your gym time this week! You'll do great.

  2. Starting the week with a new initiative like trying Military Diet is really awesome.
